Hi @Loueat65

If you are new to the forum then welcome to the Community which is predominantly made up of Sky customers helping other Sky customers. You aren’t actually talking to Sky by posting on here.

If you're looking to have a subscription in your name your husband will have to cancel the current service first.

Until such time as he does that the service will continue as normal. If he stops paying the bill then the service will be restricted and Sky will chase him for the arrears but obviously that will start at your address.

Perhaps try contacting him through family or mutual friends.

My husband & i have separated and he no longer lives at the property. However the account is in his name but with him having left he is un contactable & unwilling to get in touch with sky. All i want to do is to keep sky as the main occupier of the house.

Thanks for your reply.

That is never going to happen. I have asked consistently since August 25 & he still hasn't done anything. The split is not amicable & he wouldn't be bothered if he cancelled & I had problems. How is it so difficult when all other utilities let you change circumstances no problem. I'm wanting to keep sky m& not be controlled by a coercive ex.

.
