topic Customer service isn’t all bad! in Account & Billing

No question for the forum, just a bit of positivity among all the negativity on this and other Sky forums.

Just had the need to speak to Customer Services to cancel Dad's broadband as he's just had to move into a care home for palliative care today.

The whole interaction, via the accessibility team, was first class. Broadband promptly cancelled, all email communication frozen so he doesn't receive any distressing messages, refund of overpayment will be promptly refunded to his bank account. No early cancellation fee to pay. The CS officer also advised not to worry about returning the hub, as she understood we had more important things to worry about.

The moral of this story is;

Register with the accessibility team if you are eligible.

Get a Power of Attorney and register this as well

As you say it's great to hear a positive story about Sky Customer Services albeit about a specialist team.

Hope your Dad receives the care he requires.
