Paying by card (I pay by credit card) shouldn't be an issue.

However, Sky's billing system is monthly so trying to pay weekly isn't going to work well (if at all).

Why not let monthly card collections happen?

If you've only recently moved to card payment from DD it may have been a little too late to prevent the DD.

I've opted to change payment from direct debit to payment weekly though card, I'm in credit, yet sky keep trying to deduct payment through direct debit, even though I'm in credit, and have refunded my payment with my card, please can someone make sense of this

Our Sky bills are paid monthly so Sky doesn't do weekly payments or do you mean you were going to make weekly ones, if this what you mean then there is no need to as Skys terms and conditions do state that you must have something setup so they can take it automatically from you.

If the credit you have on your account enough to pay the bill in full and how long has it been on the account as with any bill it is created 14 days earlier so if the credit went onto the account during these 14 days it might be to late to use it but should be used on the next bill.

Thanks for your message, that makes sense alright, but on the sky app it gives you the option of changing payment details, either through direct debit or debit card, my account is in credit, and credit is being refunded back to me

It the credit is being refunded to you then it can not be used against your next bill.
