Credit Sitting on Closed Account

Please can somebody advise me how I go about getting the money that is sitting in a closed account. The account has actually been closed a few years now and I have only just discovered it!

I'm still not sure from existing posts asking the same question.

Some guidance would be much appreciated!

Not for this account. We still have a current Sky account but that's under a different a/c. number and is in my husbands name

If the payment details are not in place then the only way to get the credit returned to you would be to either send a cheque out which is a very slow process or if you can provide some payment details it can be refunded by that.

Thanks, for your speedy response and help with this. How do I proceed with giving payment details securely. Obviously I'm not going to give them out publicly. Thanks

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.

This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.
