My monthly bills

I've been with sky for many years and have always paid via direct debit on the 25th of the month. I noticed that last months didn't come out so went to check my bills and found that the payment method had changed form direct debit to my debit card, which I didn't think they had and I wasn't aware of. It also said my account was overdue. So I changed back to direct debit and paid what I thought I owed. Easy. This morning I've woke to find I've paid again. So now I'm in credit. How do I get my credit refunded and why has my account been messed around with ? 🤷🏻‍♀️

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.

This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.

I spoke to someone via chat assistant earlier (I'd forgotten I could do that) and it's all be sorted but thanks for your help
