Other wise it appears the the two step verification is only required if login to you account on Sky.com or this forum

That isn't correct because if you login to the MySky app (as I did yesterday) then 2FA is there as well.

And before some says if some hacks my mobile phone , no that is also two step verification as well as ( Vodafone which is my phone provider) also dose it Sky are not the ones doing it quit a few companies have it if log in your accont on there sites my bank HSBC, Vodafone and BT just to name three all require two step verification now .

Yes I understand your frustration about having to do it on this site, I alsothink once you have logged in you should stay logged in until you quit the form for the day. Not having to login every couple of hours with 2 step verification every time. Though the set up I have I use my iPad to view this forum and the code is sent to my iPhone both on the same apple account therefore the text with the code also appear on my iPad as well. I don't even have to go to text app on my iPad to look at the code either as it appear in verification page when I click on the first square of verification box I just click on the first square of the code box and it automatically fills the box's and I am in to forum again. Only take about a minute to do. However I do realise that probably not that easy for others that have different set ups

In fact if you kid out of the phone which is has the number on the account , which my wife's phone, after puting the login details in, in produces a QR. code which you have to use a camera on another phone than text a code from that phone to put in to complete login process. I just tried it loged out of the my wife's, phone which as I said in the on EE account and I had to do above procedure to get back into it. However I just looked at security setting in the EE app and it dose look like it can be changed, so may be it optional and I selected it when I set up the account. Now back two step verification with Sky, if I use the Sky apps( I.e My Sky or Sky go) on either my iPhone or IPad once installed they open straight up no verification required. Not sure what happens now if you install a Sky app on a device and login , maybe that will srequirextwo step verification just like the EE one. Other wise it appears the the two step verification is only required if login to you account on Sky.com or this forum

Which is the case most of the time, I don't think I have had re login to my Sky go app for very long time and the my Sky app the same, though that case I think that one or two times it has signed it self out a couple of time and I have had to log back in. I tried signing out of both of those apps just now to see what happens. And yes after puting you login details it dose ask for a two stage verification code from my phone. To me this it not a problem a extra minute or so and I am back in. But most of the times I go to the app and I go straight in without having to login every time. I think this is good, and as I feel my Sky accounts are very secure as no one can just down load a sky app or try logging in to my account on web site and even if they have way have managed to find my login details they are still not going to get in to the account as I am the only one that has the phone that has the number the two step verification code text is sent to. All in all. I like the system and for me its working 100%
