However it is only the discounts that are fixed. Compare you bills to see why it has gone up. https://www.sky.com/bill

The annual price rise occurs in April for UK customers. If you join or renew weeks before then the proposed increase is sometimes deferred for a few months and is then applied. It's kind of a grace period so you don't get hit by the price increase immediately. If that is what has happened here then the next price increase after that (we have to assume there will be one) will be in April 2027.

Sk don't impose a increase for the first 60 day of a contract so you inscrese could be delayed till after that period. But if you contracted started January I would the annul increase would been applied to you account in May. But if you have not have a increase until now you are lucky to have you subscription at the old price for a couple of extra months. Unfortunately Sky increase there list price every year usual about April. Though the discounts that were agreed stay the same you monthly bill will rise at that time by extra amount that the list price of each item has increased. If you have Sky Q or Broadband when price was in red in April had right to cancel with a termination fee if you were minimum term if contacted Sky within 30 days of receiving the notification. This should also apply to you now if you are are SkyQ or Broadband, however if you have Sky steam or Glass this option is not open to you. And you can not normally cancel in you minimum term with out termination fee if Sky allowed it. I should add if did decide to cancel your broadband with Sky and went to another provider, most of them also have incontract price increases and as many of them tell you what they the increases are going to be each year of you contract at time you take out the contract, somthing so at present don't do. But if they do that unlike Sky option to cancel if price is increased with this method of advising you at the beginning , you can't cancel for whole perid of there minimum term
