If showing as a credit it won't charge that amount next due payment. If you need the money refunded you will have to call Sky.

I have a payment method set up to pay for Sky Stream that is due to come out on the 3rd of each month. It had not taken it last month (despite funds being available) and it again showed as "overdue" this month. I paid this manually. I contacted Sky Chat and was told:

I hadn't paid at all

then I was told I had paid, and no other payment would come out. A duplicate second payment came out 8 hours later just before 6pm. It's now showing as a credit on my Sky account but I need the money. How can I reclaim this?

@LauraJM1391
This credit should automatically be used to pay your next months bill so on that bill date no/less money should be taken from your account. I would suggest NOT making any manual payments unless requested to by Sky.

If you prefer, now your extra payment is showing as a credit, we can perhaps get you some help in getting it refunded (within the standard 3-5 WORKING days) through staff from the Community Messaging Team on here. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that.
