      <title>Sky deal ‘technical difficulty’</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have been sent a slightly cheaper deal by Sky but when I click through the links it says 'technical difficulty' and the deal disappears.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;I've tried several times.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The same thing happened last time Sky did this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Each time the lower offer is based on my use (I don't use much).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It feels like a deliberate technique by Sky to get you to look at other more expensive deals.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Has anyone else had this?&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Looking at other threads calling them seems to take a huge amount of time and to (usually) no avail.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

We've seen technical difficulties reported here before. I suspect that between the time the email is generated and sent to you, and the time you act on it, the deal it refers to has been withdrawn and is no longer available.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If so just call them on 150 if you're out of contract and if no success&amp;nbsp;then ask for your PAC and start researching other suppliers. You may find they com back one way or another with a btter deal.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

What did you mean by this then?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Regardless of the above, deals can be very limited at the moment, if out of minimum term I would look at using the OTS service with another ISP.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Some exchanges do not support all products, full fibre offers require access to a full fibre line which many addresses lack etc&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

I recently signed up for the 4 weeks free Sky Sports offer followed by £20 a month for 6 months, it turned out to be for 2 calendar months followed (possibly, I'll never know for certain having cancelled it) full price. That didn't stop the automated systems sending out an email only 4 days into the contract to tell me that my 4 weeks is coming to an end.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you try following through the online T&amp;amp;C's or perhaps the "Help" systems there are so many conflicting statements and broken links it beggars belief. The offers part of the system seems as broken.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It needs a root to branch purge but given the scale of what's needed they'll probably just keep kicking that can down the road.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
