topic No signal in Account & Billing

My sky+ box has stopped working as is showing no satellite signal received, have contacted sky who have upgraded me to a new sky q box but they are unable to book an engineer appointment (on my orders is just showing as delayed and to contact sky), I was promised a phone call back with an appointment time/date for engineer, this never happened, so I called again to be told the same, that they could not get on the system or see any engineer slots, they have said they will call me back again on Monday to update! Is this a common problem with Sky or am I just getting fobbed off? Seems very poor service especially for existing customers of over 20 years+? I have never had this problem previously when contacting them?

There are less engineers around these days as Sky moves more to streaming services like Sky Glass and Sjy Q so delays like this can and do crop up. Having said that even if there is going to be a wait of a number of weeks I am surprised they can not find a slot for you so it might be worth calling back and speaking to someone else about this.
