Paid my bill twice

Hi, I logged on and saw my DD was no longer set up so manually paid my bill, I then reset the DD up and it automatically took the payment the next day (my error I know). How would I go about getting a refund as my account is now in credit and I'm budgeting tightly this month.

Sky likes to have private replies the forum should be open to people reading & or replying , not just someone will contact you over this .

I replied to a post but the post was classed as it contained highlighted errors ,But there were none 🤔

The private messages are sent to those people who Sky want to help so need their personal details like username and passwords all of which for pretty obvious reasons can not be posted on an open forum such as this.

Without the detail it's hard to understand the issue you had with replying. The forum is open to members reading and/or replying, subject to the forum rules. There’s also some validation built into the reply box which I'm guessing you fell foul of, for example, posting of phone numbers. There’s usually an explanation of what needs to be corrected.

Err no no phone numbers or any other thing else , these automated systems have algoes and if it does not like something it see, s it will generate a fault code and then not post .

Trust pilot runs the same system, you can put down a truthful series of events about a big company & it won't post ,reason given you put in the wrong section , err no you put it in the screen presented on your phone for the review .

On here at least if using copy & paste try the 'Paste as plain text' option, otherwise hidden text formatting will throw up an error. It doesn't like phone numbers and (sometimes) IP addresses and most especially, anything it considers personal information.
