HBO Subscription

I activated the HBO access as instructed on my Sky set a few weeks ago. During that process, using the HBO app on my TV, I was presented with HBO 'no-ads' or 'with-ads'. It was not clear which one I should choose so I called Sky, talked the guy through what I was doing and asked for help. However, he did not know and also told me that no-one in the service centre would be able to help either as training had not been rolled out. So, I made what I thought was the better choice, selecting 'no-ads'. Today, I have been charged £5.99 by HBO. Has anyone else had this issue?

The " no ads "tier is £5,99 a month if you wanted it free you should choosen "with ads" tier . It easy to change this just go to the my Sky app and select " your products " then find and select "HBO max". You will then a see menu of the various tiers, select "no ads" and press the " buy " button at the bottom. Your choice will take affect at the next payment date. If you have not got the my Sky app you can do the same by logging in on the Sky.com web site and then selecting " "your products" and doing the same procedure as above
