Cannot link my sky sccount

It's asking me for my account number and have not got one. My order confirmation does not include an account order. I guess it's early days as order switch yesterday. I try with debit card number and it's not recognised. Shall I wait till I get confirmation letter from post? Thanks

What a waste of time going round in circles ringing different numbers etc and contacting sky via messenger.Still no joy,cannot access my sky account with no account number. Fed up, wish I did not switch.

How is your bill paid each month, is it taken via a direct debit ?

Direct debit. Just spoke to sky CS and was told will not be able to access account until my broadband is activated. I wish somebody told me that before I went in circles from different cs.
