I want to know if I cancel tnt sports on my sky package would I still be able to watch this on hbo max? Thank you

Nope as you don't get access to sports on HBO without the relevant subscription in place.

TNT Sports is now watched through the HBO Max app when a TNT subscription is in place: the bundled £4.99 'free' tier with Sky was never going to include £30 of sports content
