The annual price rise occurs in April for UK customers. If you join or renew around that period the proposed increase is sometimes deferred for a few months and is then applied. It's kind of a grace period so you don't get hit by the price increase immediately. Your next price increase after that (we have to assume there will be one) will be in April 2027.

I signed upto Sky Broadband in mid March 2026 at £25/month but chose an activation date after 7th April 2026.

My understanding is that the next price increase would apply after the contract becomes effective, i.e. 7th April 2026 contract start date and so any price increase would be due from 1st April 2027.

I've complaine but they just regurgitate what i write in my complaint and are unable to direct me to the contract/terms I agreed to. I didn't get them sent to me by email when I applied for the service nor when my service went active and they're not in My messages as they keep suggesting in response to complaints.

Was it in March or April.
