Sky vip 12 months paramount offer

I've signed up for paramount + with sky vip 12 month offer. Pretty sure I did everything right. When I log into my account on paramount it says promo 1 year but it then says next billing April 15th which is after the 7 day trial. The email I received from paramount also said next billing 15th Apri 2026. When I signed up it did say 7 days free billing then promotion will start for one year. I'm probably worrying needlessly but is this usual. I'm worried I will be charged the £49 annual fee on the 15th.

If not mistaken subscription for paramount plus if you have not the free option because you have Sky cinema, are taken separately by Sky marketplace by credit or debit card separately to your normal Sky tv bill. How did you signed to paramount plus did you have give a credit or debit card payment. You say it 7 days free trial did also you would say still get it 12 months without charge or was the 12 month offer promotion which may be reduced rate subscription may be. It very strange for a offer to say 7 day free trial and 12 months also free, why not just 12 months free with the next billing April 2027, why is there a need to have a billing date 15 April 2026 Also If it was free where dose the £49 annual fee come in to it The normal subscription is monthly there is no mention of a yearly amount subscription, either on Paranount web site or a Sky marketplace for a normal subscription, may be that is the vip promotion. If you are not sure you could cancel your subscription before 15 April and then you subscption should end at end of your free trial. I know you can do this if you subscribe to paramount plus as I did direct that also had 7 day free trial but then they charged if you did not cancel before the next payment date. I should think that is possable to cancel though Sky marketplace as well.

On the account page on paramount+ it says

Subscription and billing basic trial

Price £43.99 /year

Promo Promotion for first year

Next billing date April this year

So it definitely says promotion for first year but then says next billing date. I assume that will be £0.00 but who knows?

Yes it was a sky vip offer. Free for 1 year. The email from sky said click on a link and everything looked good when I was registering with paramount. The offer showed quite clearly as 7 days free subscription then the sky vip offer would follow on for 1 year. Every looked right but now I have paramount I looked at the account and it says next billing date as 7 days time.

Is your billing with paramount or Sky ? If it with paramount it tells you that next billing is the 15 April but dose not tell you the amount that will be taken on that date? I have paramount though Amazon and the paramount web site tells me that but when I go on to Amazon account page it tells me my next payment date and the amount to be taken. In fact I have various streaming subscriptions and they all say the next billing date and the amount to be taken. It should be the same with paramount.

I'm billed through Paramount. The account page shows exactly as I've keyed it above. So no it's not clear what I will be billed on the 15th. I'm just going to wait and see what happens. I know I set it up correctly using the sky link. I expect everyone else just sets it up and doesn't worry as much as me!

Can I ask what subscription you have is standard with ads or standard with out ads. As looking on the various normal yearly subscriptions there is not actually one for the yearly amount you have quoted £49. Standard with ads is £43.99 and standard without ads £70.99.

Ok I presume you had to put in activation code to get the promotion as I had to with one of my Sky vip offers if that was the case it should be as it said.

Just had same issue. I'm positive it come up as due in 2027, but on Paramount email and account it's now saying due in 7 days. Not sure whether to contact Sky or Paramount to sort this out

Glad I'm not the only one. I'm certain everything read correctly when I signed up. It's only the email and account page on paramount and from paramount that's causing confusion. I honestly think it's because if the seven days trial and when that lapses it will roll onto the sky offer and say next billing April 2027. Its certainly not clear and I worry about everything! If you find out, let me know please.

Just had online chat with Paramount agent who confirmed Sky VIP discount has been applied but not showing on my Paramount account, and payment is due April 2027. Felt mostly reassured but will monitor it just in case, although she did say I could claim refund if debited in error. Wish I'd screenshotted it when it initially said 2027. But hopefully all sorted now.

I had a look at the sign up page for when you first sign up to Paramount plus, the page where you have to give you you payment details, amongst other things. On that page it tells you when payment date is in your case 15 April 2026 after the 7 day free trial and the amount that payment would be but should say that info if you login to paramount plus web site and looked at the account page, all the other apps I subscribe to do it's strange that paramount plus dose not.

I just done a 9 month Sky vip paramount plus offer on my Sky app. Yes on the confirmation email is say £4.99 due in 7days. But if you login in on Paromount pus web site and look at your account, though is says the next billing date in 7 days time and price of £4.99. Underneath that also says under Promo " 100% of regular price for 9 months"

I did a Simlar VIP Paramount plus promotion on the my Sky app my is for 9 months after the 7 day free trail. And yes my confirmation email also say next pay payment due in 7 days with amount of £4,99. However if I go in to the Paromount plus web site and looked at my account it also say next payment due in 7days and a billing amount of £4.99. However under that under Promo it say " 100% off regular price for 9 months"

Yes I can confirm that the billing date showing 7 days time has now passed. I wasn't billed and now when I log into Paramount it says next billing date as one years time.

Thank you, you have just put my mind at ease as I had the same query. Sky VIP offer but it's confusing re the next billing date. Glad I wasn't the only one.
