      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4449509"&gt;@Vicky144&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Restrictions to services occur due to missed payments, they are automatically applied and agents cannot override the process, even if you’re told otherwise. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sky won’t reinstate restricted services until the arrears have been paid &lt;STRONG&gt;and&lt;/STRONG&gt; you’ve also set up a new continuous payment method. Until then any calls to Sky will only prompt you to pay. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sky don't allow payment plans on overdue live accounts, nor will they consider promises to pay on or by a certain date. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If your payment is 2+ weeks overdue you will have to pay the next bill as well and if you’re in arrears for 56+ days Sky can fully terminate your subscription (but you’ll still owe the arrears).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If this is part of a credit agreement purchase (mobile or Sky Glass) non payment can see the credit agreement cancelled at which point the full amount becomes due in one payment. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Once your full payment has cleared and is in Sky’s account your services should be reinstated, but this may not be instant. Any payment you make over a weekend or on a Bank Holiday won’t be processed until the following week. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You should be able to pay the bill and set up your direct debit via the MySky app or online using this link &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.sky.com/manage/bill/" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.sky.com/manage/bill/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;U&gt;After&lt;/U&gt; your services are back up and running&amp;nbsp;check the basics, ie; fresh batteries, re-pairing etc and then if your Sky Q remote is definitely broken or faulty, if you follow this link it should allow you to do some more troubleshooting and then it’ll send you to a form to request a replacement (I’m not sure if this is available to customers in the Republic of Ireland). &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.sky.com/help/articles/lost-stolen-damaged-sky-q-equipment#get-in-touch" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.sky.com/help/articles/lost-stolen-damaged-sky-q-equipment#get-in-touch&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It may be quicker to purchase a new remote from a retailer / larger supermarket. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Meanwhile, if you have an android or Apple device with Sky Go you can possibly set up a virtual remote to control your Sky Q box.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you I'll try those. I've just bought the remote today and it cost me over £20. I thought new batteries and everything and followed the steps to pair it which it told me to hold 1 and 3 for a few seconds but nothing was happening. I'll try the steps though&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
