I usually watch TNT sports through my sky card, to watch via the new HBO max app, do I log in with my sky or my BT details?

Hello @Steve4578, to access your TNT Sports through the HBO Max app then you'll need to activate HBO Max using your the email address linked to your Sky account - https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-marketplace-subscribe-to-hbo-max

If you pay for TNT Sports via a third party then you'll need to sign into the app with the credentials you used with the discovery+ app.

I pay for TNT Sports via Sky, but can not stream via the HBO Max App - I could do this via Discovery Plus.

Is this correct? If so, how do I get streaming to work on the HBO Max app?

If you have TNT Sports as part of your Sky subscriptions then as long as you activate HBO Max with your existing email that you use with your Sky account, then you'll be able to stream TNT Sports using the HBO Max app.

As my TNT sports subscription is paid to BT I signed into the HBO max app with my BT details, all is now working fine.

I have a similar but not so similar issue. I have had TNT through BT/EE for year and was able to view through the TV channels on Sky and also access through the Discovery+ app through my sky Q box with no problems.

After getting an advisory email from BT I logged in to the HBO Max app with my existing Discovery+ credentials and was able to see my BT/EE TNT Sports subscription fine.

I then activated HBO Max through my sky Q box to get acces to the basic HBO package that is now available through my subscription with Sky.

Not sure if I did this correctly or not but used the same email address that is on my Sky account and my newly created HBO account for my TNT sports subscription. I got in and could see just the sky subscription in HBO Max. I thought that it would just take time for thr TNT supscription to appear as it is the sam email address, but no.

I tried on various devices and logged out (maybe stupidly) on the app through my Sky Q box and logged in again but it accesses my TNT Subscription version only and not the Sky one also I have lost the ability to see THT through the TV channels.

When looking at my Sky accout it says that the HBO Max basic with ads is now active but I have no way to view it as the only subscription that appears in HBO Max on any device including my Sky bo is the TNT one.

Any help would be good.

The discovery+ app was working fine with my BT log in details as I pay BT for TNT sports, I could also watch TNT sports through the TNT channels on my Sky Q box as I had configured it that way.

So now I can still watch TNT through the Sky channels, but I can also watch TNT sports through other devices via HBO max after logging in with my BT log in details, if I log in with my Sky details it works but I do not get the TNT sports, hope this helps?

If you have used your login for Sky that login has been taken over by Sky as if press " manage your subscription" it will say payment though Sky. This being the case as hbo max subscription though Sky do not have a option to have just hbo max app for tnt sport you can only have tntsport though the app if you have a tnt sport subscription though Sky, if you can no longer see your tnt sport subscription on the HBO max web site I would presume linking your log in to Sky has cancelled your hbomax tnt sport subscription though subscription. You have two options either have your TNT sport subscription though Sky as part of you normal Sky subscription this will not only give you back the TNT sport coverage though HBO max app with same login as you hbo entertainment but will also give you back the tnt sport on the Sky channels like you had with bt. The option is to have tnt sport though HBO max app direct withHBO max but you will have find a new login and means loginging in and out for the two subscription , also you will not have access to tnt sport channels on your Sky box. The subscription of tnt though Sky is not much different to having HBO tnt sport subscription about £34 a month about £3 more than the HBo one but you will have the convenience of the sig,e log in and get back the ability to watch TNT sports on your Sky box

Yes, same email, but different Passwords, I log into Discovery + & HBO max with my BT password. Not my Sky.

When I activated HBO through Sky box it didn't give me the option to create a seperate password. so I have 2 subscriptions with the same email but only a password for the original TNT sports one

Sorry about my rambling I read your original post wrong I though had created a new tnt sport account with HBO max direct but I agather you are still with bt. By the look of it BT/EE tnt subscription only now gives you access to TNT sports though the HBO max app now which would be the case if you had the TNT sports though HBO max direct. You say have the same login email for both Sky and bt but with different passwords. Presumably you are logging in with your bt password and see just TNT sports content. Have tried login with the Sky password and I wounder what happens if you have tried that

I have no idea of a password for the sky created one as it didn't ask me to create one when I activated it

If I log into HBO max with my BT details, I get the full pakage including TNT sports, if I log in with my Sky details I only get the basic, NO sports.

Who do you pay the bill to for access to the TNT channels as the fact you can access it via your Bt account details suggest it is Bt that you pay and not actually Sky.

Yes, as I have said from the very beginning, I pay BT for the TNT sports. but normally watch through Sky channels.
