I have been offered a tv and broadband deal from a Sky agent, over the phone, that would be a fixed price for 2 years.

The upcoming April increase is already included in his offer price.

Does anyone know if he is telling the truth and is able to offer a truly fixed price deal as I suspect he can not.

There will be a price review at the start of every year which inevitably results in a price increase starting with the April payment so you will almost certainly see an increase in April 2027 and 2028.

He is ringing back this morning so that will be an interesting conversation.

I specifically asked him the amount, in pounds that I would be paying on the first month and the amount, in pounds that I would then be paying on the 24th month.

He stated the 2 payments would be exactly the same. He even quoted both amounts in pounds.

He is either offering me a good deal of not telling the truth.

The discount amount, for example - £7 a month, will be for the whole 24 months. The annual price increases are applied to the standard full price.

He just called and still insisted that it was a fixed price rather a fixed discount.

He then sent me a copy of the contract which clearly states that that he contract price can vary.

I sent him away with a flea in his ear.

He is clearly misrepresenting the contract terms.

Sky need to be looking at what their agents are telling potential customers.

I've recently renegotiated my deal and this Aprils price is basically baked into the new price (but paying £9 less for the next 12 months), next April will have a rise also but for BB and now Q and HD+ TV we can all call back to renegotiate or cancel.

I to re- negotiate ed my contract and the new monthly amount was also included the April increase. What can not be guaranteed is what the price will be increased to next year as it's only your discount that stay the same. A

Also Problerbly as it is in my case negotiating new contract now will also delay when the April increase will be app,ied as Sky have 60day rule that price won't increase in that period, with me my 8new contract started in February so my increase is delayed till may

As stated above Sky has an annual price rise each April so it is unlikely the price is fixed throughout the length of this contract which is usually 24 months.
