Sky id number?

I have placed a new order for fibre broadband. I received the router today and it says activation date is 16th March. I have not received any Sky id number yet and I want to postpone the activation date until 8th April.

You don't receive an ID number as you have to create the ID yourself which you can do here:

I login with my email and password at that link and it says

Oops, that didn't work

We're unable to retrieve the details of your order at the moment.

Please sign out, close your browser and try again in a few minutes time.

If that doesn't work, we will provide a phone number for you to call us on.

When I try to link my order to my account I enter my phone number, select Broadband, Select Other router (Black version), Enter last 6 digits of my Iban I used for the order and my last name. I click submit and it says cannot find details try again.

So I have no Sky ID, no Sky account number and cannot link my order to the sky account I created.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.

This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.

I am not going to phone sky at my expense to sort out a problem with their order system.

Unfortunately we do not have a messaging option for the team who has access to assist with linking Sky iD's so the only option would be to call if you are unable to link the account online. I am sorry we can't offer an alternative. Thanks, Becca.
