How do sky engineers identify themselves?

My neighbour is 85, he said he had a call from a sky engineer to arrange a visit for the coming week. My neighbour is not clear what it is the engineer is coming to do. How can we check authenticity? What ID card do they carry, what work instruction should they have? I will be there to challenge!

If they are not sure what the engineer is arriving for or forgotten maybe, they can check their MySky account under Track your order.

It would show any engineer appointments that are planned there.

As for any form of identity on their visit, yes all engineers would carry identification on their person.

Did your neighbour say if he had called Sky about an issue with perhaps their Sky Tv service ?
