&lt;P&gt;Sky has never done promises to pay so if your bill is usually paid by a direct debit and this fails you do not need to do anything as Sky will try again in around 10 days time. If you pay by a card and you find your services restricted then you will have to pay the bill in full and set the card payment up again before your services will be restored.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I have missed my latest payment, as I wasn't paid correct from work, but they cannot pay me properly until Friday 20th, I've been trying to contact someone to setup a promise to pay for that date but when I call, it says I need to make a payment before I can speak to an agent and the online chat thing is useless&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How can I speak to a human being to setup a promise to pay for next Friday????&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;That suggests your services are already restricted.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Restrictions to services occur due to missed payments, they are automatically applied and agents cannot override the process, even if you’re told otherwise. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sky won’t reinstate restricted services until the arrears have been paid &lt;STRONG&gt;and&lt;/STRONG&gt; you’ve also set up a new continuous payment method. Until then any calls to Sky will only prompt you to pay. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sky don't allow payment plans on overdue live accounts, nor will they consider promises to pay on or by a certain date. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If your payment is 2+ weeks overdue you will have to pay the next bill as well and if you’re in arrears for 56+ days Sky can fully terminate your subscription (but you’ll still owe the arrears).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If this is part of a credit agreement purchase (mobile or Sky Glass) non payment can see the credit agreement cancelled at which point the full amount becomes due in one payment. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Once your full payment has cleared and is in Sky’s account your services should be reinstated, but this may not be instant.
