I cannot buy package for just streaming on my laptop and the chat bot was utterly useless. Is there any way of getting hold of an actual human being to buy this product. I just want to watch f1, but I know I'll have to buy a basic package, but it insists if selling a remote control with it and I don't have a tv

if you just want to watch Sky sports on you laptop you can down load the Now tv app on that and follow the on screen instructions to subscribe to Sky sports.

All Sky-branded television subscription is based on Sky hardware: it's not possible to get to use the Sky Go app without at least receiving, as a minimum, a Sky Stream puck.

The puck doesn't actually have to be connected to a television set (it will eventually activate automatically) but as noted above it's a rather inefficient way to get to view content.
