I signed up for the sky ultimate tv and 150 broadband package las april and deal clearly stated "prices fixed until april 2027", the other day i noticed my tv and broadband both going up by £3, i called sky today "luckily i screenshoted the deal last year" and was shouted at down the phone by some loverly indian lady. then got put though to disconections and in the uk and the guy asked for the screen shot and agreed that the page states price fixed until april 2027 on the deal via "top cashback". he then spoke to his manager and said no prices. rise every april and basically called me a liar, put me though to someone else to raise a complaint. that person opened a complaint and as soon as he put the phone down to me closed the complaint. so i had to call again and spoke to someone a lot more helpful who explained that sky's complaints process is that the person who the compaint it raised with is also the person who has to follow up the compaint as sky dont really have a dedicated compaints team.

I spoke to the last guy ho explained all this and he has re opened my complaint looked at my evidence and has booked to call me back next tuesday with a out come. but he also informed me that if the rise is mor than 10% you can notify sky in march that you intend to leave in april with no penalty so my tv is £20 and internet £17 or the other way round, anyway £3 on each is more than 10% so worse case senario is i leave in april. but hopfully they will honor the deal they advertised. The wording of the deal advertised by sky is "sky stream, ultimate tv netflix & full fibre 150, £37 a month, £0 upfront fee for 24 months. prices locked until april 2027"

My Stream is up £6 and broadband £3.

On the broadband I only started my special price six weeks ago. Due to the way they calculate bills when your package changes I haven't paid the contracted price once. 🙂

It might increase in April, but I can see no advantage at all in getting in through Sky.

I suspect it will increase in price on Discovery+/HBO Max to a similar price at some point in 2026 anyway.

I'm sure it will. But you can install their app and log in on as many devices as you want including other people's houses. You can only stream on two at the same time but I still think it's the better option.

Well you can do the same when subscribing through TNT Sports via Sky, as you get the access also via Discovery +, so there isn't really a difference between how you subscribe beit through TNT Sports via Sky or directly on Discovery+

If you're saying you can install their app anywhere and log in with your Sky account I'll take your word for it. You didn't even used to be able to watch it on another TV in your own house unless you had multiroom/whole home.

6.85% total increase in my case. Well above inflation!

To watch the TNT Sports TV channels you would need multiroom/whole home. However a TNT Sports subscription comes with a Discovery + Sports package, which means you can log in to Discovery + on any device to watch the content.
