Changing to sky ultimate

We currently have the Sign signature and are paying extra for 'Sky Ultimate'.

Our package is £15 more than the standard Sky Ultimate package. So I want to get rid of Sky signature altogether and just sign up to the 'Sky Ultimate' package, but we've been told that our Sky Q boxes are not compatible and we'll have to get all new boxes. We currently have our main box and two mini boxes, so they want to charge me £80 to do this.

Is this right? Feel like I am constantly getting ripped off by Sky with prices constantly going up and up, and yet new customers are being charged fantastic new offers that are almost half of what we are paying.

Hi @David2179 I suspect that the Sky Ultimate you are looking at is for Sky Stream and Sky Glass. This is a completely different platform to Sky Q and is a big change. I would research Sky Stream before you make the move to see if it is suitable. Obviously the new hardware will include administrative fees, £80 sounds quite low, especially if you are going to reduce their monthly income.

£80 sounds about right for the activation fee for Sky Stream, as its £39.95 per puck ( and the activation fee is usually waived for the first puck when you take Whole Home). So that £80 fee would essentially be for 3 pucks, as one of the pucks wouldn't have the fee.
