You would have to wait a long time (a year or so) before you would be treated as a new customer and get a loss leading incentive to join.

New customers are offered sky mobile for £6 there is also an offer for £5 I RUNG UP WHEN MY TWO ACCOUNTS each costing £7 went up to £10, Eastern call centre could hardly understand a word agree to reduce to £5 . When I checked my email it was 2 accounts at £7 . Not good when you cannot understand what you are agreeing too.

If I cancel and start again I get a better deal what does that say about loyalty. We used to ring a Scottish call centre in the past service was fantastic it now **bleep** cheap and nasty.

Wnenever you signed up to Sky you would have joined with an offer on the sim that other customers at the time would not have been able to get.

If you have had your current sim for 12 months or more then the work around is to order this new one then using a pac code transfer your current number to a PAYG network then back again to the new sim.
