Sky don't work on promises to pay, if your bill becomes overdue they can and likely will restrict services until all outstanding bills are fully paid.

If your services are already restricted that will only be because of a missed payment. Sky won’t reinstate them until you’ve paid what you owe (regardless of any individual circumstances) and you’ve also set up a new continuous payment method.

Until you’ve done this all calls to Sky will only prompt you to pay.

If your payment is two weeks or more overdue you will have to pay the next bill as well and if you’re in arrears for 56+ days Sky can fully terminate your subscription (but you’ll still owe the arrears).

If this is part of a credit agreement purchase (mobile or Sky Glass for example) non payment can see the credit agreement cancelled at which point the full amount becomes due in one payment .

Restrictions of services are automatic and Skys agents can’t override the process, even if you’re told otherwise. Sky don't allow payment plans on overdue live accounts, nor will they consider promises to pay on or by a certain date.

Once your full payment has cleared and is in Sky’s account your services should be reinstated, but this may not be instant. Any payment you make over a weekend or on a Bank Holiday won’t be processed until the following week.

You should be able to pay the bill and set up your direct debit via the MySky app or online using this link

I am going to be leaving sky I was paying 10 pounds a month on my old network I changed to sky for same data and everything it was getting use too quickly and not been getting good service in areas so think I will be leaving sky

If your services are restricted due to a missed payment which you've said they are, you can't cancel until you've paid your arrears.

@Daniel0210 is a customer like you and me but what he has said is correct, Sky will not restore your services until the bill has been paid so the quicker you do that the quicker your services will be restored so if you can I would do it as soon as you can on Friday as the payment then has to be cleared by the banks. Don't forget that you will also need to reset up your payment method.

@Jasonramsden Why is that? There isn't a provider out there that would allow you to continue using their service when you've missed a bill, expecting services to be reinstated while in arrears is unrealistic.

You mention your going to cancel but if your still within a minimum term then you will have to pay early termination fees( that will be the remaining months of your contract).
