Early Exit Fees

I informed Sky I was switching to Virgin Media in my 31 Days notice contact and Sky are going to charge me a early exit fee £54:50 which I find annoying because I have followed there terms and conditions not to mention I have paid a month in credit.
I have contacted Virgin Media and they are going to credit me on my first bill the full amount. if Sky think I am going to return to Sky in the future then think again it will not happen.

@Arthur65 The early termination fees apply if you leave during a minimum term period

so sky obviously have decided that you gave notice whilst still inside the minimum term of your contract meaning that the notice period would end inside the notice period hence the fees

If you are in the minimum term of a contract then Sky are within their rights to charge you an early termination fee as per this:

Switching to another provider is why they, like Sky offer credit when such charges are levied.
