Hi,

Thanks for the help. I called Sky after five minutes on the AI chat asking for a number. The chap I spoke to was very helpful and managed to set me up with a new account, which is now live.

I have a Sky Broadband package at my second home and am considering returning to Sky Broadband and TV at my main home. I tried to add a second account using my wife's email address, but when I input the property details the system defaulted to moving my second home supply to the "new" address despite my having inputted BT as the current supplier to my main home and giving the account number for this. How do I proceed please?

Are you signing up as a new customer using a new email address that hasn't been used by you before. To do this you do need to make sure you are not signed into your account that is linked to your second address.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

I was not signed in to my second home account, but was using a desktop from which I have accessed said account. I proceeded through the process as a new customer, using my wife's email address to avoid confusion (so I thought). I went through the broadband and tv selection process with no issue but when I completed the page with my main home address and current supplier and moved on to the payment page the system said it would send details to my email address (the one I use for my second home account) and the details giving my "saving" indicated that if I proceeded they would move that account to supply my main home and alter the package to the one I had just selected for my main home. The saving would have been a different figure if it was comparing the selected package to the current BT package. FYI my main home was supplied by Sky prior to my switching to BT a few years ago.

Many thanks.

Not sure what is happening so I would give Sky a call and explain to them that you want to take out another account at this other address you have.
