An engineer came to install new broadband box and sky fibre.
i requested the appt be cancelled but he turned up anyway. I was at home and he was let in by a minor - my 14 year old child. This surely is not allowed?

I have come home to holes drilled in my hallway for the box to be connected. I did not give permission for this and the location is ridiculous.

I had no phone call or message from the engineer asking where i wanted this installed. My tv and old broadband box are in the living room.

there are rules broken from today im sure, and also the fact ive had no correspondence asking where i want holes drilled and his been supervised by a 14 year old child

That shouldn't have happened, and would be a very legitimate complaint

An installer generally wouldn't expect to do so expect in person.

That's less relevant: there's never any guarantee that FTTP will arrive in the same location as a previous metallic circuit. Typically an ONT is installed on the inside of an external wall.
