If not then you didn't cancel as another provider cannot cancel TV services they can only cancel a phone/broadband contract as part of Ofcom's one you can switching service ( similar to how energy providers get switched).&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cancelling direct debits will get you nowhere nor will refusing to pay as Sky won't speak to your if your account is in arrears and nor will they let you cancel the TV contract if you are in arrears ( all it will do is go as a negative mark on your credit file and eventually lead to Sky involving debt collectors).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

In fact reading the T&amp;amp;Cs and the contract details may it clear they are separate services under different T&amp;amp;Cs.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also the One Touch Switching system is OFCOM-mandated and can only cover broadband, as not all ISPs provide a TV service.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is also the matter of things like the data protection act which would legally prevent another party from cancelling a service in your name ( like a TV service). Services likes broadband, gas/electricity for example do fall outside this as they have a regulator enforced switching mechanism specifically designed for these types of services were you would only required one type of that service to your property, and being a key service need to be able to switch without losing service. TV subscription services are just seen as key services and therefore the regulator hasn't implemented a switching system for it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
