&lt;P&gt;Service will only be reinstated once any outstanding balance is cleared in full and&amp;nbsp; a new direct debit setup&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Sky won;t reinstate service on the promise of a payment.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I spoke to someone and was assured that my services would not be going off as I made a promise to pay on the 23rd November</description>

&lt;P&gt;Whoever told you that&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4388021"&gt;@Babs5611&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;was wrong as Sky have never done "promises to pay" so if a bill isn't paid for whatever reason then the services are restricted until it is. If you pay by a direct debit then you have 10 days grace as Sky will try again 10 days later to take the payment.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
