So it’s Goodbye……..

Been with Sky since the early 1990's

Always had the newest boxes.

Bought an upmarket NEC system to receive other nearby satellites.

Got a fully motorised system with polar mount and a 1.2 metre dish.

Threw that all away when the first recorder box arrived in 2000.

Had every model box Sky has ever issued.

Became one of the first to adopt Sky Stream.

But it's now all over. Ever increasing prices along with content decline has pushed me over the edge.

Contract expires in a few days, already disconnected my stream box.

Now watching Netflix, Amazon and Apple TV with an Apple TV 4K box that I've had for ages.

It was so much fun back in the day........

I recently left my second stint with Sky, which lasted almost 24 years. Sky won't care as there will be plenty of people they can dupe with plenty of endless repeats and sub standard soaps to fill their run times but they will find out in time when they need to contact customer services or indeed need help on this forum...a site run by fellow customers with sharp tongues.

If Sky are sucessful with a potential takeover of ITV, that will be something else they can break😳.
