It's not 'free': that's why 'Ultimate TV' costs more than 'Signature' on Sky Q

On Glass & Stream the price of Standard with Adverts is factored into the monthly subscription for 'Ultimate TV' and 'Essential TV' (and it's likely that both Sky and Netflix reduce their margin on the latter)

Netflix investors would be very upset if they thought their product was being given away.

I have received a letter saying that Netflix have discontinued their Basic Plan so now I get the Standard plan for no extra cost. That sounded good until a friend told me that he gets Netflix free on the basic package. I have the ultimate package and pay £64 per month. I don't have movies or sports. I do have two sky boxes.
There are so many packages and add ons that I don't know if I need Ultimate or could perhaps manage with the basic package what ever that is.
