topic Returning equipment - packaging problem in Account & Billing

I have left sky. They said I'd be receiving packaging to return the items in the post m. A box arrived yesterday and I put my broadband hub, puck, remote and chargers in it and took them to the post office. The letter inside only mentioned the hub but as the box said it had space for a remote I assumed I should send it all together.
Today separate Sky packaging arrived for the sky puck. What a nightmare. What should I do? I've tried for over an hour to try and speak to a human at sky but I just get directed to the website. Do I send back empty packaging? I can't be the only person that's done this but I suspect they'll charge me for a missing puck and I can't afford unnecessary costs... that's why I cancelled after the subscription price rise. They need to make it clear that each item is going to get its own returns packaging to prevent this from happening.

The equipment all goes to the same gigantic warehouse. The hub packaging arrives first as there's a shorter notice period of 14 days whereas TV subscription is 31 days.

As long as you've kept your proof of posting there shouldn't be a problem. Keep it indefinitely.

All the returned items go the same loaction so as long as you have kep the tracking details safe then you can show that you have sent the items off should you need to.
