topic Sky HD and Ultra HD in Account & Billing

Firstly do I need to have both of these ?
what is the difference?
I have noticed that every channel is HD, so would that mean I couldn't watch them, without these 2 packages?
OMG this is confusing. Please just explain in simple terms pls

HD is a prerequisite for UHD. UHD is a higher picture resolution, which in theory gives a sharper picture. (It can also carry HDR if you have a compatible box/TV)

The only live channels in UHD are sports channels.

However, you can download UHD content - such as Movies and Series.

You need to ensure your Q box video settings is 2160P too.

You can watch HD channels without a UHD subscription.

Not every channel is HD but a lot of TV broadcasters are withdrawing the SD equivalent channels.

@Mumneedshelp2it is all about the picture quality

SD is standard definition

HD is high definition

UHD is ultra high definition

You can watch up to the quality you have subscribed to and which picture quality the channel or program is being broadcast at.

Is it worth the expense? Only you can answer.

I have a 65" OLED TV and want to watch the best quality of picture available so have UHD.

Watching football and F1 (via Stream) the difference in picture quality and clarity is noticeable to me
