    <description>&lt;P&gt;Can I upgrade and swap my old device without paying for a plan. My son already has a pay as you go SIM card so I would be using that he just wants a new phone and I knew I had an upgrade / swap just not sure how much I would pay&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;You can do this but if it will not let you do it wants you to select a plan then select the cheapest one and when the sim arrives do not activate it so it is cancelled and therefore you will not be charged for it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
