How to change contact preferences

I am currently receiving text and phone calls from unknown numbers stating they are arranging appointments to upgrade my broadband to full fibre. It was out of the blue so I have not replied or given any information on a call. Having spoken to sky direct they know nothing about upgrades in my area or ant appointments for upgrades. I have been told to do nothing. I want to have it set up on my account that sky only writes to me as a preference so I know any calls or text are not from sky, but I can't find it in my account as told by a sky adviser or app which is currently showing incorrect information anyway. Can anyone help ?

That's what's confusing. Sky say that it's not available in my area yet so it could be a scam. So I don't know where I am.

When I put the mobile numbers from both text and telephone call in to who phone me it list it as a scam.

I have changed my contact preferences now to only letters.
