Anyone got an idea why sky charges me £33.50 for sky ultimate when sky advertises it for £24?

The £24 will be for potential new customers, so you could try calling them to see if they will agree to let you have it at the price if you agree to a new contract.

Better discounts are offered to new customers as an incentive for them to join.

If you choose to move to another provider then in 18/24 months you'll be in the same position with that provider and if you want you'll be able to return to Sky as a new customer and gain the benefits at that time.

Me too! I can't seem to get any information or a definitive answer as to why I am charged for Ultimate and Ultimate Plus. Is it possible to remove Ultimate Plus? Prices now are astronomical! Thanks

I looked into this, I swapped packages as my two years had ended, in fact I got the New Sky Glass Gen 2, dropped the HD (never watched it) and saved £30 per month.

When I wanted to add TNT, they wanted to charge me the full rate and not the offer rate, so still no loyalty to existing customers, I would have signed up there and then if they added the offer to my subscription, but SKY would not, so they lost out on a subscription for TNT, I will not be ripped off for loyalyty.

@Manager+81 it is TNT who set that rate not Sky they only handlectgecsub for Warner Discovery/BT

No, Sky had an offer that was around 50% lower than the standard rate, I spoke with Sky representative who said only new customers could have the discounted rate,

So much for loyalty

As soon as I have paid of sky glass, I am done. Not the same company it was . Sooner the better for me.
