Sky high cost of Sky Package

I am paying over £100 for my sky and broadband a month which I feel is rather excessive. I only want Sky Sports and don't want other packages but trying to conatct Sky to discuss is impossible. Has anyone got ideas how to go about this?

You can't just have Sky Sports. You need to have the base package to start with.

If your discounted minimum term has ended or its ending soon the best new discounts are still normally acquired by calling Sky and negotiating or potentially amending your package which will require a new 24 month minimum term contract.

It’s apparent that significant discounts are harder to come by these days so if you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer is unlikely to be available when you call back. Also remember you’re not a new customer so don’t expect anything close to a new customer deal which would be unrealistic.

If you're planning to move providers remember that in 18 months time you'll be in the same position with that company at which point you'll be able to return to Sky and benefit from the new customer discounts available at that time.

You can't have just Sky Sports - you need a base package as well.

Although, I believe Sky may allow Sports on top of Essentials (which is only free-to-air channels but the cheapest base package).

I do have other packages (basic) which come with Sports, what I am asking if there is any way of negotiating a cheaper package. Is therea telephone contact available to contact Sky?
