    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I cancelled my Sky broadband on 29/06/25 for service to end on 25/07/25.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was billed and paid on 1/07/25 for the month of July for the full month of July.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;another direct debit taken on 01/08/25 for full monthly amount.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This last payment should not have been taken as there is no bill for August.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please escalate so I can be refunded for this last payment&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;George&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;The bill taken on 1 August was correctly generated 14 days before that, so about 18th July when you were still a Sky customer.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How did you cancel?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Did you receive an email from Sky acknowledging the cancellation?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Is the overpayment showing as a credit on your Sky account?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
