So im about to get the new samsung ultra - i have £53 left of my contract but I am due to pay £40 in 3 days. How will this work with my new contract and when will the first new monthly payment come out??

The £53 will be added to a future bill so would need to paid off in one go via it. If you are paying £40 in a few days then it is the £13 that will be added to your next available bill.

My monthly payment of £38 is due in 2 days.

My new phone contract is £43

How does that work?

When do I pay the £53

When do I pay the first month of £43

And what does the £38 contribute to?

The amount you owe for the old phone will be added to your next available bill after you have received your new phone so you will need to look at your future bills for this.
