Same here, we joined Sky way back when they first started with the old big white dish but apparently loyalty means zilch to Sky. Cancelled TV and received no offers at all, nothing on the account except 'sorry to see you go'! TV ended today. Wasn't going to accept any offers anyway as TV is now terrible but would've been nice to be offered something for loyalty! I phoned them about the broadband last week and was offered a measly £3 reduction, making my broadband £20 more expensive than my sisters whose contract just ended and who was offered half price incentive to stay despite only being a customer a couple of years! Add to that I live in a rural area and speeds are very slow which they acknowledged but didn't make a blind bit of difference to the price they wanted me to pay.

After 25 years with Sky I am now leaving. Why? Well due to contract being oover and wanting to set up a new one Sky were only willing to give me a £1.50 reduction on the out of contract subscription cost. Despite trying to improve on this due to being a long term customer and telling them competotors prices they refused. Now, on second to last day before switch over they send me an offer to stay with a massive reduction in subscription. They had their chance more than two months ago so now it's too late.

Whoever in Sky is making these commercial decisions and last minute negotiating tactics has it all wrong.

This is no way to treat any customer nor make a successful business.

Sky are known to do this as well as sending "come back to Sky" offers when you have actually left so you might get a few of these sent to you as well.

Those competitors prices would be for new customers. You're not a new Sky customer so searching out a discount to anywhere near that is unrealistic.

Better discounts are offered to new customers as an incentive for them to join.

As you've chosen to jump ship and go with another provider then in 18/24 months you'll be in the same position with that provider and if you want you'll be able to return to Sky as a new customer.
