Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount, and recent posts on here indicate that significant discounts are now harder to come by. We regularly advise on her that if you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back.

Better discounts are offered to new customers as an incentive for them to join.

If you choose to jump ship and go with another provider then in 18/24 months you'll be in the same position with that provider and if you want you'll be able to return to Sky as a new customer.

Good afternoon.

I have had my Sky account for a number of years, and its a basic account. But im out of contract and my bills are always over £105 (current bill £110) When friends come over the first thing they ask is do i have Sky Sport..................Nope so why do you have a high bill? No Disney nothing speacial just a basic package.

So now they ahve offered Sky Fiber which is £37 I have discided to get rid of the TV because I dont need it I only watch basic tv. Bit heres the catch, I told themmi will cancel all tv and just have the fiber thank you, and this was supposeded to be completed, but no im still paying £110.

I spoke to a gentleman who sounded really sincere a knw how I felt and could feel my pain, I have a TV Licence and basic channels and a smart TV as I said to them, he decided to reach out to his manager who in turn felt that they could offer me a discount and make my bill come down to £70 with the Fiber added. Hmmmmm sounds ok but I said I would need to consult the wife. So I spoke to her and she said sounds ok, but as we know there are better deals out there with other service providers, but as im loyal to my service provider SKY I do not want to switch then switch again. I called last night spoke to someone and told them what I have been offered but hey....... its not £80 WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!! So I called and spoke to someone today, and guess what ohhhhh hmmm the price has changed, the best they can offer is £87 huhhhhhhhhh really !!!!! As i was told by someone which doesnt make a WOOT is the can change thier prices when they want...... PUFF PRICE CHANGE Im so annoyed, I guess they give a dam. Loyalty doesnt mean nothing.
