Depends on your contract. Some contracts explicitly state you cannot cancel.

If you want to cancel any of your subscriptions, you will need to call sky, to cancel any of your sky tv subscriptions you will need to give 31 days notice broadband is 14 days i believe mobile phones are 14 days aswell, but if you are in a contract that has still got time to run then you probably will not be able to cancel without paying for the remaining contract

Can you explain your issue a bit more, are you saying you have been hit with this penalty charge for cancelling early ?
