It's probably best to call Sky to confirm but in my experience adding the offer will create two offer termination dates.

So sports will expire in 2 years time and the others earlier. And as you cannot cancel the base package as it's a pre-requisite for sports... (which means you may have to pay full list price for those items unless you re contract for a co termination date)

Current discount stays when adding sky sports?

Hi. I currently have a 24 month contract with Sky which is Signature, Cinema, UHD, Sky Q and Mini box along with Netflix. The prices are discounted and it runs out in February 2027. I wish to add Sky sports as it's on offer at £20 per month at the moment but it says that the whole package will recontract for 24 months.

My question is does the discount on the current contract end after the initial 2 years (to February 2027) or would that also renew for the 2 years from now (to May 2027)?

Thanks for the response. I thought that was likely the case that the non-Sky sports discount would run out when it is currently due to in Feb 2027 and would be paying full price on that until the end of the new renewed date if I upgrade to Sky sports. But I couldn't find anything anywhere to confirm it.
