First bill why do high?

Can any one explain why our first sky bill is so high? We cancelled our sky on 25 of April

We rejoined sky on 2 of may on a new deal for £53.50 and had our sky + turned back on that day we then had sky Q install on 10th of may the bill due date stayed the same on the 25th of may

Our first bill come in at £90 for our first 23 days of sky TV from 2 may till the 25 of may and that was a big shock to us

We then have to pay again on the 25th of June a further £48.50

So the first 53 days of sky we are paying out around £138 how is that right?

The first two bills are always higher due to the date period they cover (longer than the usual 4 weeks) as you can read about here, halfway down the page here:

Check your future bills to see what they show from month 3 onwards as it should then match your agreed price

Because you pay a month in advance, this covers next month’s bill. Using the example from the first bill:

this make no sense because it says we will be billed again on the 25th of June next month? That is 3 bills in less then 60 days?

it like 3 bills on one?

You'll most likely be paying for 23 days up to 25 may and then a month in advance from 26 May to 25 June - so nearly two months in all.

Your bill on 25 June will cover 26 June until 25 July.

Your first should cover 2nd May - 24th June so longer than the usual 4 weeks which is why it is £90. Subsequent bills such as your 25th June bill should be at the correct price.

Yes so my package is 53.50 a month

a month in advance so call it 2 bills is £106

why am I being charged £138 for 2end of may till June bill it's like x3 bills for less then 60 days of use

You would have to check the detail in your bill - we can't see it, of course. If it's not clear, give Sky a call and they'll review,it with you.
