Moving house

We are due to move house and an engineer is booked. The new house has no TV Ariel socket just plug sockets and the house also doesn't have a phone socket, I do know that it did have a pre existing land line. The sky call centre has advised that the engineer will install a phone socket and that I don't need a TV Ariel socket to connect to sky is this right? Thanks for your help

Then the engineer will mount a new dish (if required) and run cable accordingly. (This will involve drilling from outside to inside)
