Price Increase - Upgrade Broadand

Hi, i've had my email re the April price increase and was wondering if rather than cancel can I upgrade my package within the 30 days? My current contract runs out in July 2025. I dont really want to leave SKY but some of the online existing customer deals dont look very appealing. If I did choose to cancel can I just contact another provider and do a switch with no penalty from SKY?

If you give Sky the requited notice to cancel which is 14 days for broadband/talk or you can just sign up to another provider via the switch scheme and give them 31 days notice to cancel your TV package then you should be able to leave penalty free if you are not in the minimum term of a contract.

The mail should detail your options. I believe you should be able to leave without early termination charges following this increase. You could try negotiating a new contract (now 2 years) but they may not entertain that until nearer the end of your minimum term.

TBH switching is likely to get your better deal as a new customer elsewhere.
