topic Potential Scam Call in Account & Billing

Just had a very strange call from soemone claiming to be from Sky and offering 40% discounts. The number was *2*8 080 880 2. The caller spent most of the time trying to get personal details from me. I tried to report this to Sky by phone so that they could keep a check on my account, but they seemed very disinterested and just wanted me to sign up to their broadband service; still no idea if this was a scam call, but the number has been referred to as a scam in several posts on the internet, so keep a look out for it.

I was phoned today, from apparently sky.... offering a 30% discount off my mobile bill. They called me off what seemed like a fake number

They then sent me a password reset email which looked identical to skys, saying i had to reset my password to recieve the discount with a password they tell me. Go careful out there!!
